To this day I still can't understand GTA IV scoring as well as it did.
The rest of the list seems okay ish when taken as opinions which they are. A lot of the list I personally wouldn't give 10 scores to but then I'm super critical of games and probably would only have score 1 or 2 games a 10 that I've played
I could be wrong, but I'm genuinely optimistic that games will more often be in the 40-50gb range next gen - the amount of data duplication currently per game is likely ridiculously high. Modern Warfare is currently 160GB. There's no way there isn't a ridiculous amount of asset duplication in there, wouldn't surprise me if that wouldhave been 50-60GB if it had no duplication.
Not only that, but with the speeds of the next gen ssds, I bet they can store the data in a much more compressed state unlike this gen where anything compressed would then take time to uncompress before anything could be done with it.
Gotta say I absolutely love it, it's hard to describe but it's a fun and full filling game so far. I don't envy reviewers having to put down their thoughts on the game. It's not for everyone but if you can appreciate a slower paced game and have patience for it you'll love it
Ha oh dear. Goes to show how far Crytek have gone down the pan if the best hope they have for survival is to just remake their engine showcase game in their newest engine.
Crysis was nothing special. It was a solid shooter with phenomenal graphics but that's it. It really doesn't need a remake.
