Some more info from neogaf.

  • Multiplayer Confirmed
  • There are 60 different animations just of Drake picking up objects.
  • Talk a lot about how weight distribution plays a big role in the animations
  • You can attack enemies from all sides with unique animations to them, you wont magically warp in front of them if you punch.
  • Lots of talk from Druckman on the cost of adventuring on Drake's life, it will be a major focus of the story. Compares his addiction to treasure hunting to a drug addict.
  • All the new items they added were chosen cause it can help keep the pacing and gives you a better sense of exploration and adventure.
  • Cutscenes are now all real time
  • Tools will be used to enhance traversal and puzzle solving
  • They said the large puzzle rooms from Uncharted 3 will still be there, they say U3 had the best puzzles of the series and they want to build on that.
  • TLOU moments where the characters react to what they see or read will happen in this game.
  • Lots of talk about brotherly banter and building a bond between the NPC and the player, "there are some nice cooperative moments between Nate and his brother."
  • On the gigantic setpieces, this is exactly what they say "So now our concept of a set piece is 'what's something impactful we can do to switch expectations and how can we have it emotionally charged?' We want to constantly surprise the player, so it can be really intimate, or really big and bombastic."

This is looking to be the best Uncharted yet, I'm confident they'll finally surpass Uncharted 2. Every change they're making looks to be for the better, taking what they've learned from all the Uncharted games, TLoU, and evolving it. Glad it won't just be Uncharted 3 with better graphics.

What has that site gotten right anymore?

No idea. Sony has tried multiple times and has just failed. The Killzone franchises has been around, but it's never been really premier. It's always been more of a graphical showcase rather than a strong FPS.

Resistance fell apart. Haze killed a studio because it was so bad (though that was 3rd party). Microsoft got lucky with Halo. Halo could have ended up staying on Macs if Microsoft didn't step up.

Today all of the shooters are really mutliplats. With the exclusion of Titanfall and Halo, all of the biggest shooter franchises are on Sony gaming devices. So I don't think it's that big of a deal anymore. CoD, Battlefield, and in the future Battlefront and Titanfall 2 (we all know it's coming), will all be on the PS4. Sony lacks a real strong 1st party shooter but that's it. Killzone is alright and it's better than nothing.

they should be able to though, they have like 50 studios.

they are quite alright destroying microsoft in every other genre, they know after all the big hitter fps are multiplats.

is this a Kaz account?

nah, the ps3 barely delivered last gen. so i don't see the ps4 doing much better.

there were only a few great games for them last gen like, uncharted or MGS4-going by reviews. and a few just good to average games, with their mediocre sequels. a lot of flops and cancellations too. so now i doubt they'll be putting out much quality stuff over the years. unless their business takes a sudden upswing. they don't have the money too. to nurture n fully develop games. they're already letting games like DriveClub launch broken and unfinished...that should be telling.

I feel the same. Bought a PS3 and played most of the exclusives. They were all garbage to me and had no replay value. After watching the botched release of #DriveClub and the poor reviews for the rest of the exclusives, I will not cop a PS4. Go home and be an insurance salesman Sony

@foxhound_fox: The hype I agree with. But what good intentions? PSN costing money sounds pretty scummy to me

PS4 struggle as usual.

Can PS3.5 fans go to a different forum? I like games, which Sony has none.
