I have found a little value in my PS subscription, but I'm not sure that it equals the cost. I'll probably let it drop next year. Things like this make me squint and realize I'd rather just buy a particular game on the cheap and play it eventually when I'm ready.

Zero Dawn is 7yrs old, so seeing it leaving PS+ is fine as I'm sure every gamer (at least I hope that's the case) has already played it and its on PC anyway.

Forbidden West is 2yrs old. Why would it need to leave this early in its lifecycle?

I’m only currently subscribed to Essential just for the main purpose of online multiplayer stuff. Don’t really feel the need to upgrade to the higher tiers, just isn’t worth it for me.

Canceled my sub last year when they raised the price. Their first party games should not be leaving the service. This us the opposite of what I want to see did the service. This doesn't give me confidence to resub either. Oh well, this isn't the Sony I used to love that's for sure.

Probably about to announce a remake so they need to cut off access to the old version.

Yikes, figured 1st party content would be safe.

logically, you are correct and i mostly agree.. i do think the benefit of keeping all first party games on the service has two primary benefits though:

1) a potential subscriber knows exactly what they're paying for.. they know that at a minimum, all 1st party games are in the service..

2) i'm sure these platform owners still want to attract new players from other platforms (whether from PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc).. and those players may be completely new to the ecosystem.. so having all those "classic" titles readily available makes the transition as easy as possible..

that said, definitely not a huge deal.. but it does continue to show how consumer friendly Game Pass is by comparison..

Makes sense, can't have it cutting into the sales of the $70 remaster I suppose

If they announce a full price remake/remaster I'll have no respect of anyone that stays on Playstation.

Sony screwing their brainwashed fanbase over as usual. No justification for removing one of their big name games, no matter how old it is.

Timed no doubt to coincide with the announcement of the HZD remaster which makes the move even more scummy.

I’m in the minority who would welcome a HZD remake as I think it deserves the improved graphics & gameplay using HFW hardware engine as the PS4 was very limited compared what Guerilla Games were able to do for PS5.

The only logical answer I can think of is that they're probably going to announce a remake/remaster at its next state of play. I mean imagine if they do lol.

If it's only 2 years old, then it should have more value.

Very likely to be bringing a remake.

They did it for the last of us.

This is one of the most anit gamer moves across all systems.

Glad my nephew has my PS5 as I wont be playing it.

Sony well and truly milking cows.
