logically, you are correct and i mostly agree.. i do think the benefit of keeping all first party games on the service has two primary benefits though:
1) a potential subscriber knows exactly what they're paying for.. they know that at a minimum, all 1st party games are in the service..
2) i'm sure these platform owners still want to attract new players from other platforms (whether from PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc).. and those players may be completely new to the ecosystem.. so having all those "classic" titles readily available makes the transition as easy as possible..
that said, definitely not a huge deal.. but it does continue to show how consumer friendly Game Pass is by comparison..
