Chrono Cross Available Now

Square/EA has shipped Chrono Cross for the Sony PlayStation. The sequel to Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross is an action RPG that puts the player in the primary roles of Serge and Kid and features more than 40 playable characters in all. The game's story begins as Serge finds himself in an unfamiliar world and is rescued by Kid from a group of bandits. The two heroes then embark on a quest to retrieve an artifact while being pursued by a mysterious entity. The complex plot of Chrono Cross incorporates nonlinear gameplay that can lead to a total of ten different endings.

Chrono Cross is available now at a suggested retail price of US$40.
